Eat, Drink & Stay in Priors Marston

Every good village must have a good village pub and Priors Marston is no exception, the village also has several bed & breakfast establishments where warm welcomes await.

In our sister village, Priors Hardwick, you will find The Butchers Arms, one of the most respected and popular restaurants in the South Midlands - visit it one day, who knows who you might find yourself sitting next to?

The Hollybush Inn is now the only pub in the village and was originally built in the late 17th to early 18th century with a mid 19th century addition and 20th century alterations.

Initially it was a farmhouse and where the car park now is was a centre for small businesses including a blacksmith and other small traders. It had a small shop and began to brew and sell beer. Eventually it began to buy in beer from Leamington but it was not until after the Second World War that it became fully licensed.

The Hollybush Inn is an independently owned Freehouse set in the beautiful village of Priors Marston.

Situated just 20 minutes form both the M1 and the M40, Priors Marston is a quintessentially English village with those three village essentials; Church, village School and a thriving Pub, The Hollybush.

The Charm of the Hollybush lies in the fact that it is first and foremost a traditional village pub that serves the local community. A pub that provides Lunches for the village school and one where drinkers are every bit as welcome as diners. We are not a "Gastro Pub". Indeed it is the sound of a busy bar which gives the pub its atmosphere - something so lacking in so many Gastro Pubs.

Food is, however, very important to the Hollybush and we provide a high quality menu at very reasonable prices, as well as a simpler bar menu with traditional pub food.Image

Our approach is essentially informal. Waiters do not wear dinner jackets and we assume that our customers are able to pour their own wine. We want to be a pub where customers feel comfortable drinking either wine or beer with their food and where they feel it's ok to mix the menus.

Nor is this a place where you will be ushered form your table so that another booking can be seated. If you book a table at the Hollybush then it's yours for the night. We want you to linger. We only ask you to keep to booking times so that the evening runs smoothly

The Hollybush can cater for Weddings, Christenings and private parties, all of which are essentially bespoke - we have no ready made packages. We also have 10 bedrooms so why not park the car and spend the night?
